Jake Davis State Farm is seeking a highly motivated, sales-dominant Acquisitions Specialist with a strong personality and the confidence to build relationships quickly and close opportunities. Licensing Requirements

• Property & Casualty license must be obtained within 45 days of starting
 • Life & Health license must be obtained within 45 days of starting
 • Licensing support and guidance are provided to help you complete the process successfully

Prior State Farm or insurance industry experience is preferred but not required.

Role Overview

As an Acquisitions Specialist, your primary focus will be generating new business for the agency. You will prospect for opportunities, conduct needs-based conversations, and confidently present insurance solutions that help customers protect what matters most.

This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a natural ability to connect with people, and the drive to consistently close new business.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect for new customers through outbound calls, referrals, community networking, and lead follow-up

Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients

Conduct needs-based conversations to identify protection gaps and recommend solutions

Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, and life insurance policies

Follow up consistently with prospects to convert opportunities into sales

Track activity, pipeline progress, and production results

Collaborate with team members to support agency growth initiatives

Qualifications

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Outgoing personality with confidence in sales conversations

Highly organized with disciplined follow-up habits

Comfortable initiating contact and building new relationships

Goal-oriented and motivated by performance and growth

Prior sales, marketing, or customer-facing experience preferred

Ability to obtain required state insurance licenses within the timeline listed above
