Jake Davis State Farm is looking for a highly motivated, sales-dominant Account Representative who thrives on building relationships, meeting new people, and turning conversations into closed business. This role is ideal for someone with a strong personality, positive energy, and the confidence to lead meaningful coverage conversations.

You will play a key role in growing the agency by connecting with customers, identifying protection needs, and recommending insurance solutions that help individuals and families protect what matters most.

Licensing Requirements

• Property & Casualty license must be obtained within 45 days of starting
 • Life & Health license must be obtained within 45 days of starting
 • Licensing guidance and support are provided to help you complete the process successfully

Prior State Farm or insurance industry experience is preferred but not required.

Role Overview

As an Account Representative, your focus will be building relationships, generating new business opportunities, and strengthening existing customer accounts. You will conduct needs-based conversations, present coverage options, and confidently close policies across multiple product lines.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by achieving results.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their insurance needs

Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, and life insurance policies

Assist customers with policy applications, renewals, and coverage updates

Conduct policy reviews to identify protection gaps and cross-sell opportunities

Follow up on leads, quotes, and referral opportunities to convert sales

Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and policy activity

Collaborate with team members to achieve agency production goals

Qualifications

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Outgoing personality with confidence in sales conversations

Goal-oriented and motivated by performance and growth

Highly organized with strong follow-up habits

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment

Prior sales or customer-facing experience preferred
